The only problem with pleading with her, was one, she wasn't about to listen to my pleas and two, how I could get such a chance to plead with her in the first place because I have no control over who visits me.

See, a part of my sentence has been that I must be alone for the length of it and the Vhaerans would be loath to remove that condition.

Yes I am staying in a one inmate prison.

I'm loath to call it living because this doesn't feel the least bit like it, even though it beats the alternative.

So any chance that I might have, as little as it was to be sure, to have a shot at presenting a plea to her would only happen if it was one that couldn't be ignored.

But what kind of idea could I come up with that would prove to be that interesting that would gain the necessary attention while serving to defrost the winter that stands between the princess and me, which would of course be the greatest challenge.

I stared at the computer in my room wanting to make proper use of it while I could because the time I had to use it was quickly coming to an end and I'd come up with no idea and was frustrated that I was hamstrung by what I thought to be unfair rules.

Yes, I was here as a consequence of my own rash decision to not return with the princess which led to her family insisting that I serve this sentence, as unfair as it was.
