Good morning Lakies.
No, I don't still don't like that term.
And I can't call you Lakers, for obvious reasons.
I was trying to figure out what to call you, the visitors to my site.
When you come and comment because that's the only way for me to know with any certainty that you've passed by.
Well, that and e-mails, but leaving a comment is easier than writing an e-mail right?
Or is that just me who thinks that?
In any event, three days before the big launch, I was thinking about what to call you and I was looking at two different ways of referring to you, but both came with multiple terms that I liked.
But only one path makes sense since I am the lake in which you'd be swimming in when you're here.
Right?
The waters of the lake, which makes up Lake October is the content of October Lake, the entity, if that makes sense.
It does to me.
So the other day I came up with the names of seven fish that struck a chord with me.
The Seven Houses Of The Fish?
All from the first seven letters of the alphabet.
They are:
Ayu
Barfish, a yellow bass
Char, for obvious reasons I think.
Deepwater Flathead, I like to think of myself as deep and I have a flat head.
Emperor Bream sounds majestic.
Flying Fish, wings yo.
Gizzard Shad, it just looks odd and this is odd no? What I'm doing? And odd is good dammit!
Now the simplest way is to just line them with their day of the week, with the first day being Monday.
But there's a problem with that, for me anyway.
I was born on a Tuesday and char is obviously the name of the fish that I want there.
So I guess I'll just switch Tuesday for Wednesday.
That works for me.
What house will you choose?
Though since it's fish, maybe it should be school so it's less Pottery.
I never got into Harry Potter.
Never read the books and have only seen parts of the first movie?
However I have watched both Fantastic Beasts' movies which is odd yes?
Probably.
But schools it is.
Into which school will you enroll?
What's it mean to enroll in a school of fish here?
I don't have an answer for you, that's just a thing in my head that I wish to share.
Anyway, what meaning will it have if it all springs from me?
Though it could mean that it's the first day you visited the site, or failing that, the day that you decided that you'd be visiting it regularly.
Guaranteed daily content! I haven't had a day with writing since May 19, 2006.
And these days, I'm bringing the stories hard, especially Mortuvhen.
I did have a fleeting thought early this morning about the fear of hitting the wall with Mortuvhen, which has always been a big ole problem for me.
But until I hit it, I can believe that I'm rolling along, because I am rolling along with it.
Amazing Spider-Man 1 and Amazing Spider-Man 2 are both on the schedule to be pvred.
They were...
They were Spider-Man films. Do I want to watch them again? I'll let you know in the 3rd, but for now, with the morning coming to an end and needing to reboot, I go.
