I continue to pass on early quarters, this time in the first even though I was set at one point to  write.

But I didn't.

So I'm behind in a week, and a month sadly, where I have scarcely harvested like I need to millionize my second straight yer.

Oh Charles, where have the goodly harvests gone?

And will they come back in time?

August was the first month four years ago where I sprung to life on the harvesting and now, it could be the month that ends the effort.

Okay, it won't be, because I am going to storm back, but this has not been the most helpful month of the COVIYEAR.

In fact it's now on track to be the worst and if next week continues like this one it's going to be the worst by at least 20,000 words whish is one heck of a drop.

And it has nothing to do with playoff hockey because I can write through that, even when the Habs are in the suck as they were in those back to back shutouts.

Well, the results were suck, not nevessarily that they were.

Though it's true that they will not win without the effort that they have showed in their two wins in the playoffs.

Offs, not ins.

Sorry Leafs and Penguins, you made the play ins, not the offs, even though the points are being counted together.

So why am I slowing down in August when the last four full months, April, May, June and July are the top four months by harvest.

Well, it's hard to be  writing machine all the time.

Though i was last year from May to December.

What's different now?

It's not the influence of the goodful person that I've come to be talking to. I can write hard when I'm happy or sad, so being buoyed by knowing a goodful person is not the why of it.

I will rebound and I am not at all thinking that I will actually fail to millionize this year.

I just made it harder with the last two weeks.

Ugh.

Half a field's harvest here I come, but beyond that I don't know.

It probaly won't happen this morning.

But it will will happen.

As for whether it happens with any storying of any kind, from Byron Prestwick to Joseph Perris us anyone's guess.

Well, not yours.

I mean, you can guess, but it's my decision.

Or the boss in my head.

Right now it seems unlikely.

Sorry.

Am I going to go back to back with Pizza?

I'm feeling the want for that kind of supper even though I'm going to be eating Pizza tomorrow night while the Habs hope to stave of elimbation for a second straight game after losing 3 of the first four where they outscored the Flyers 6-5.

Of course, five of those goals came in one game.

The Canadiens are going to have to score first and often as they scored 5 wins in their two wins.

So far.

The ice is still tilted in favour of the Flyers but the Habs can win the series.

Especially if Brendan Gallagher can get some more goals.

Also Domi and Drouin, but Douin is pitching in with some assists.

At the end of the day though, it's all about one thing.

Go Habs Go!

Meanwhile, on a day when I have travelled through time too dang much, I travelled again and I am heading into the 4th at leass than a full damn field harvested.

That's just terrible and ain't none of that harvest that's been of the best kind.

Ugh.

Fortunately the past two weeks haven't resulted in the need of 3 fields a day or it's fail, though if this lesser harvesting continues, I'll be seeing that reality come my way.

And I can't allow that.

Luckily, it's in my power to change this narative that has turned negative since I haven't won a week since the first week of the month.

Oh bother.

But I can chunder out four rows tonight right?

Evern if it will be all practice?

And I will have hockey to write about as the Islanders are looking to eliminate the Captials and the Flames are hoping to come back and tie the series against the Stars.

Though since I just have female subscribers, what would you like me to write about ladies?

If you care to have a say, you know where I am and can comment directly at Today's Fish which is going to be posted daily unless and until I replace it with something better like the Journal Of Heroes that seems like a million miles away.

Of course, lots of things feel a million miles away.

The Pandemic eh.

I was supposed to be writing ten minutes ago and I didn't just sit and wait for the time to turn to 20:20 and I did the same thing for 20:24 as well.

Luckily I didn't do that this time.

Oh and the Islanders scored a power play goal to take an early 1-0 lead over the Capitals.

Go Islanders.

Unless they should meet the Habs of course, which wouldn't happen until the 2nd round if it happens at all.

And yes, the Habs are down 3 games to 2 and missing Brendan Gallagher for the rest of it, which yes, cvould be the end of the season, but they have won two games and have the scoring to do it two more times.

Yeah, if they do that, they have the Lightning who are an even tougher team for the Habs to face then the Flyers.

But the Flyers are favoured heavily against the Habs and the series ain't over yet.

That's all I'm saying.

So the player that busted Brendan Gallagher's jaw and put him out for at least the rest of this series, which proably means more than two games after the Habs beat the Flyers, is better than no suspension but not the fairer two that would have at least put him out for the season.

Yes if the Habs win three in a row.

But they got the first necessary win and are hurting without the skill and grit of Brendan Gallagher but they were going to be in tough even with all hands on deck.

So let's see this play out, where it's going to be played out.

On the ice.

And again, Go Habs Go!

At least I'm going to harvest 12 fields this week as the least harvest that I've managed any day this year is a field.

I'm not harvesting much of late, but I'm, certainly going to harvest a field.

And this night isn;t over yet by a longshot.

2-0 Islanders.

That would be a great score to see for the Habs tomorrow. Especially at the end of the game.

The Islanders are to the 2nd round with a 4-0 shutout.

Bye bye Capitals. You've found the glory much more recently than the Habs but you''re stuck at one.

Wow!

It's 3-0 Calgary against Dallas  in just under seven minutes into the 1st.

Can they keep driving hard and not fall backa dnlet the Stars back in? The Flames are on the brink of elimination and sometimes the games that look done get done in the other direction.

But damn that's a start.

Go Canadian teams go.

It's 3-1 now for the Flames, late in the 1st.

Ugh.

Yet another poor harvesting but I have to go.

I'm back, but there's still not enough time for me to hit any of the goals that were possible when I started writing tonight.

Oh well. I'll do better tomorrow.
