So I've started another story
In verse of course
As the drive this year
Is to write in verse
Though mostly not
In the formal narrative
With a beginning middle and end
Because sadly eh
I've got a ward
Of countless tales
That are stupidly lapsed
In story comas
That might well be
Yes ever there
So the odds of this
But making it to
Yes any finish
Are sadly lower
Than that of most
And because of that
Perhaps what I should do
Is just post the tale here
Not in the daily folder no
But in the one for stories
And write it until I don't
Then give it some time
And when I can't
But give it the finish
That it deserves
End it with some simple bits
Like this is what happened
Sorry I couldn't be
Yes more dramatic
With an epic ending
But foolishly
I always believe in me
That I'll come to finish
These stories now
And even some of the ones
From my earlier years
So I'd be loath
To do but such a thing
Now I'd continue writing here
But I hear a call
And this is one
That I should take
But you know this
That I'll be back
Though I ain't bringing him
When I do return
But later one
Because I don't know him no
And just don't see
How I ever would
And that's okay
I'd rather meet yes RDJ
This latest story of mine
About a man
Woken from his sleep
By a powerful being
Who came with a promise
That he was being granted
A goodly choice
Between four good women
Each of whom he fancies yes
Is dancing in my head
Though I'll not be writing more of it now
I expect to be writing more tomorrow
And I just wanted to keep you apprised
Should you care to read a story told
In goodly Petrie verse
Or if your want of stories
Is all about the prose
Which is of course
The best good way for them
It's just not the only one
Though it should be finished
At least but through
The first good draft
Before you see it
And that's my greatest challenge
As I've already stated
In the previous quarter
So I guess I should but move along
And write about something else
Only what would that be
As the Habs don't play
Until tonight
And I want to write now
Though it's yet another day
Of getting some food
And I should go and get ready for that
And having had a morning
Where I wrote my way
To just a little short
Of the halfway point
I can surely stop right here
To later return
For whatever more I'll write
This goodly Saturday night
