Call me Jack Delumber
As I try for a second time
To post some fine good words
To the not always friendly net
Will I regret
My doing this
Since I am not a writer
By my first inclination
No
I'm a swinger of the goodly axe
In the Forever Forest
Where a trillion trees
Are planted well
And I'm the only man
Permitted there

But there came a day
Where I started to think poetically
And try as I might
Try as I did
I found I had no choice
I found a poet's voice
Inside myself
So this is me sharing
What I hope you'll be caring
To read but yes
When you have the time of course
I don't mean to impose
Think of it as
An open invitation
