“I have a magic suit
Only it was stolen
And without it
I'm a head without a body
And I can't do a thing
Without it
As I've been magically blessed
For far too long
To take advantage
Of anything but
Or something likewise magic”
“A magic suit you say
Never did I think
I'd live to see the day
That I'd see magic again
As this is an age of science
Instead of magic”
I said to him
As I was much but older
Than how I looked
Like ridiculously so
Since I measure my life
In the hundreds of years
Instead of the dozens
That most but do
“You know magic
How is that possible
When magic's been done
As an abiding force
For hundreds of years
And you couldn't possibly be
Of an age to know it yourself”
He said with conviction
That I understood of course
Because I looked good
And no one would imagine
That I'm as old as I am
“I'm of the magic myself
And it's sustained me well
In the hundreds of years
That I have lived
So yes I know magic”
“Then surely you can help me
To find my suit
So I can live the life again
That I've long been accustomed to
Because to give me this much time
Only to turn around
And say you won't
Would be the cruelest thing
That one could do”
Aye that would surely be cruel
And I'm not cruel at all
So of course I'll help you yes
Though finding your suit
Will surely take time
And I don't know
How much time it will take
So I must caution you
To be as patient as you can be
Though I grant you this
That lacking a body
On which you relied
To live a normal life
Must be the height of frustration
But the rescue of your body
In good working order
Just be can't be done
With the ease you surely hope it can
